The Berkeley-Tsinghua Joint Research Center (BTJRC) is co-led by Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (Berkeley Lab), and Tsinghua University. The BTJRC is supported by a steering committee comprised of senior researchers and faculties from the three partner institutions: Berkeley Lab, Tsinghua University, and the University of California, Berkeley (UC Berkeley). An external Advisory Council is also being formed to provide strategy and outreach assistance.
Lawrence Berkeley National Lab
Berkeley Lab’s China Energy Group works to develop impactful, science-based energy and environmental solutions collaboratively with China.
University of California, Berkeley
The Berkeley Energy and Climate Institute (BECI) is the coordinating hub for energy and climate research at the University of California, Berkeley. BECI fosters collaboration between UC Berkeley, Berkeley Lab, and other external partners, and promotes interdisciplinary research by integrating science, technology, business and policy.
