The BTJRC is proud to host the Chern-Simons Visiting Fellows Program to provide a venue for experienced professionals, scholars, and researchers from China to work on emerging topics related to energy and energy efficiency in China. Visiting Fellows work with BTJRC staff to develop a research program that typically spans one to three months.
Research topics will initially focus on areas that offer the greatest impact in terms of energy savings, emissions reductions, and air quality improvement—or that support the achievement and increased ambition of China’s Paris Agreement goals.
Visiting Fellows work on-site and enjoy access to the intellectual resources of Berkeley Lab to further their research and contribute to ongoing or emerging areas of research. Fellows will also have access to alumni network of Fellows working throughout China on these areas of research.
